Fiorenzo Santoboni (2006) is a cellist who began his studies at the age of four. He continued his training with the Maestro Kyung Mi Lee from the age of eight. At just fifteen, he was admitted to the three-year Cello program at the "Santa Cecilia" Conservatory in Rome, studying with the renowned maestro Maestro Riccardo Martinini. He has participated in Masterclasses with esteemed artists such as Giovanni Sollima, Robert Cohen, Enrico Dindo, and Sigiswald Kuijken.
As a chamber musician, he has performed in quartets and quintets, as well as with the Cello Ensemble of the Conservatory of Rome in prominent venues, including the Borghese Gallery, the Auditorium of Palazzo Lateranense, Teatro del Gonfalone, Sala Nervi (Vatican City), and Circo Massimo. With the Nabla Ensemble, he premiered works for the art exhibition of Maestro Antonio Passa at the "Andersen" Museum in Rome.
From 2019 to 2023, Fiorenzo was a cellist with the Juni-Orchestra of the National Academy of Santa Cecilia, earning a prestigious scholarship and performing in impressive concert halls, including Parco della Musica (Rome) and Teatro Massimo in Palermo. He has worked with several of the conductors of Accademia Nazionale of Santa Celia among whom Maestro Antonio Pappano.
